Thrilling
One of the most rewarding experiences I have as Children's Ministry Director is listening to children answer catechism questions. They work so hard to memorize these truths from Scripture, and their faces light up as they answer. I get more excited with each new question, seeing "the wheels turning" in their heads as they mentally recall their response. I am both encouraged and delighted with their success in learning these important questions and answers, that I pray will stay with them throughout their lifetime. I know it brings their heavenly Father joy to hear His children recite His truths. What a tremendous blessing!! I am truly thankful to be part of it. What a thrilling experience!!

Children's Church
We had a great time in Children's Church last Sunday! We met a new friend, whose name is Bonagain. We had a great story, learned a new Bible verse, had prayer time, sang songs, created beautiful artwork, and even had time for a snack. Through it all, we glorified our Lord by talking to Him, talking about Him, and singing to Him. It was a blessed morning. I am looking forward to next week!
By the way, all children ages 3-5 are welcome to attend Children's Church. It is an option offered to your family. If you prefer that your children sit with you through the end of the service, please feel free to keep them with you.
See you Sunday!

Sick Season
The flu is definitely raging! And RSV is visiting many households. Please help us keep our nursery well and free of as many germs as possible. If your little one has a runny nose, doesn't seem to feel well, has had diarrhea. has thrown up, or has had fever in the past 24 hours, please keep him/her at home. We love all our children and want everyone to be as healthy as possible!! Thanks!
Also, please remember to label all bottles, sippy cups, toys, and pacifiers. We try to be sure your child gets his/her correct items, but it's difficult if there are no names on them.
Thank you for entrusting your little ones with us,

Tip for the Day
From Ministry to Children Newsletter:
"Be sincerely loving.
In your manner of speech, your behavior, and your attitude. Children will remember this above everything else you say or do. Just like they can spot a fake, they can also perceive the real deal. When they have their own children or grandchildren, that is what will cause them to remember your name and to tell their offspring of your love for Jesus and them."
"Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart, since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable."
1 Peter 1:22

Sunday School
Hi Friends!
Just a note to say we will have children's Sunday School this Sunday, Jan 9. Josh mistakenly said there would be no SS. He was thinking of adult classes, as they will meet in the auditorium for our Church Family Meeting. Nursery will also be available during the Sunday School hour.
So... make your plans to be at church and stay for the meeting!
See you Sunday! :)
